The first week of the semester is primarily dedicated to orientation in the study program as well as in the subject. The following events are on the program:

The Welcome Day is organized by the Department of Corporate Leadership and Entrepreneurship in cooperation with the student representatives of the ÖH (Austrian National Union of Students). The Welcome Day will take place on March 4, 2024, starting at 1.30 p.m. in HS 62.01. Further information can be found here.

This course is part of the Orientation Phase (STEOP). It is a lecture combined with exercises. Attendance is compulsory in the exercise part. Further information can be found here.

This lecture is also part of the Orientation Phase (STEOP). The lecture takes place in daily sequence during the first week of the semester, but also extends beyond that. More information can be found here.

Of the other courses recommended in the curriculum for the first semester, only the VO Introduction to Economics (VO Einführung in die Volkswirtschaftslehre) starts in the first week of the semester.
