The Department of Sociology wishes all those starting their Sociology studies this semester a successful first few weeks at university.

Our Welcome Day will take place on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 2 p.m. in SR 15.4D at the Department of Sociology.

There you will have the opportunity to get to know us personally. At the Welcome Day, we will try to provide you with the most important first steps for studying sociology. You will also have the opportunity to ask your questions and, if necessary, get help with any problems you may have at the start of your studies.

We kindly ask you to register in advance for the tutorial (AG) Foundations of Sociology (Grundlagen der Soziologie AG). This course is supervised by senior students and serves to prepare you for the first major examination in your degree course.
