The start of the Bachelor’s Program Economics begins in the first week of the semester with the VO Introduction to Economics and the VU Orientation Week for Economic students, both of which are part of the Orientation Phase (STEOP).

The VU Orientation Week for Economic students is an orientation event that introduces students (with the participation of lecturers, graduates and student representatives) to the most important aspects of the Bachelor’s Program in Economics, from the (new) Bachelor’s curriculum to possible stays abroad and career prospects. Another main purpose is to enable students to network with each other.

The first session of the VU Orientation Week for Economic students starts on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 1 p.m. in HS 15.06. This will be followed by the Meet & Greet for first-semester students and members of the department – including a small buffet.
