Helpful information about starting your studies at the SBESS

Curriculum Support

The app "My studies (Curriculum Support)" in UNIGRAZonline gives you an overview of your studies, your courses and your progress. You have to assign your completed achievements in the app yourself on an ongoing basis. We will support you with instructions.

If you would like to cancel an option or rebook a course, please contact the Dean's Office.

STEOP - The introductory and orientation phase

The STEOP is intended to provide an overview of the content of your degree program. Until it has been completed, that is until all courses have been successfully completed, you can take examinations amounting to a maximum of 22 ECTS credits (in accordance with the registration requirements specified in the curriculum).

Instructions on how to view the current status of the STEOP and the ECTS already taken in UNIGRAZonline.

Basic Module

The basic module comprises introductory courses that facilitate orientation at the beginning of the degree program. It consists of a subject-specific, a faculty-wide and a university-wide part. Looking beyond your own subject area is intended to promote interdisciplinarity and give you initial access to networked thinking.

A certificate can be obtained by completing all parts of the basic module.
